A SUNRISE ENGAGEMENT SESSION AT LOVELAND PASS

Myriah and Michael’s engagement session at Loveland Pass and New Terrain Brewing Company was seriously the best day ever. We woke up super early to catch the sunrise on top of Loveland Pass at 5:45am, and finished at New Terrain Brewing Company, the brewery that Michael works for in Golden, Colorado. They even brought their cat!! It was magical.

Michael and Myriah are the two goofiest, cat loving, down to earth people I’ve ever met and I am so thankful that I now get to call them not only my clients, but my friends too. They are really into craft beer and love traveling to new breweries!! Michael has visited over 1000 breweries, and Myriah has now been to over 200. Their cat Elaia has also now been to over 50 breweries with them!! Michael moved to Denver with Myriah from Dallas after a few months of dating, and then proposed in London about a year and a half later! How cool is that?!! 

When we were planning their engagement session, we wanted a Colorado mountain backdrop and decided on Loveland Pass because it’s absolutely stunning and super accessible in the winter months when you don’t want a long hike! We also new that we wanted to incorporate Michael’s brewery into their session, so we stopped there on the way back to take photos out on the patio and even in the back of the brewery!! Michael of course also sent Tyler and me home with a few growlers of beer. It was seriously the most perfect day ever!! 

I am SO EXCITED for their mountain Airbnb wedding in Breckinridge this fall that will of course incorporate all the craft beer possible. 🙂 Did I mention that Elaia will also be at their wedding? I am so grateful to get to work with such awesome, authentic people who aren’t afraid to be themselves.
