A GUANELLA PASS ENGAGEMENT SESSION IN GEORGETOWN, COLORADO

Gabi and Chris’s adventure engagement session at Guanella Pass in Georgetown, Colorado was absolutely MAGICAL!! Out of all of the gorgeous spots in Colorado, Guanella Pass is one of my favorites for engagement sessions, elopements, and intimate weddings. It’s not super far from Denver, and has AMAZING views all throughout the pass. It also has so many amazing hiking trails! The top has an awesome open spot that is super great for elopements and intimate wedding ceremonies too!

We started Gabi and Chris’s engagement session by stopping to take photos in a gorgeous Aspen grove on our way up, and then spent the evening running all around the top of the mountain. After pretty much freezing to death, we headed back and on our way down we caught the most GORGEOUS sunset and moon I have ever seen, so naturally we had to stop to grab a few more in the road! We had so much fun exploring the pass and soaking it all in.

I have been taking photos for Gabi and Chris for going on two years now, and it has been so special to see them grow as a couple over the last couple of years! From just a fun little couples session at Lake Dillon when they were still dating, to helping Chris plan the most epic sunrise proposal on top of a mountain in Boulder, to now their engagement photos – it has been so awesome to get to know them and to have made such an amazing set of friends along the way! Now I am just (not so) patiently waiting for their wedding. 😉
