Paige and David’s engagement session in Northern Michigan at the Sleeping Bear Dunes was such a dream!! Growing up in Michigan, the Traverse City/Northern part of the state has always had such a special place in my heart and it was so fun to do their engagement photos there.
I have known Paige since elementary school, so it was so special to get to document their engagement photos! Her and David live in the Traverse City area and love all things outdoors, so we really wanted to find an outdoorsy, beautiful and remote spot for their photos. Even though I had grown up in Michigan, I had never had a chance to make it to the Sleeping Bear Dunes, so I was so excited when she suggested this remote hike that they love. It was STUNNING and I felt like I was there as a tourist not just taking photos haha.
We started the session hiking up to the lake through the most gorgeous greenery. When we finally made it to the overlook we were chasing time because it was going to storm. We literally finished their session and made it back just in time for the rain to start pouring super hard.
